A glimmer of hope

Took a couple of voltaren rapid 25's today about half an hour before the 7.5 run and for the first time in ages set ofF relatively pain free. We ran from Zamia cafe up and around the park - 7.3km. The twinges in the glutes and groin built over the run and I was mincing a bit coming back down the hill and started feeling it towards the end but the anti-inflams definitely took the edge off. I was actually running like a normal person for a bit- it felt great. Sas wasn't so lucky and is still being bothered by the inside knee pain which is, like my injury, a bit of a mystery.

Update: Feeling a bit twingey this afternoon in the usual spots. Not a bad thing, hopefully this is providing the stimulus the body needs to fix itself...
