Scary and amazing... check out the last 5 or so laps of the World Champs 10,000m ... 26:45 and he barely raised a sweat. Pity the guy he was hunting for 24 laps, he never had a chance. Yes, Usain Bolt is a phenomenon but they never seem to mention Bekele .... I guess Bolt is perfect for a world where the average attention span is about 10 seconds (BTW, that's not a criticism of the man, I'm a big fan, I think he's pretty humble considering what he's achieved ).
While we're on the subject, how crappy is SBS' coverage? I was hoping to watch the marathon before I have to go out this Saturday, but it's a 2hr delayed telecast and only starts at 7:30pm, so I'll miss most of it. Why do they need to delay the coverage on SBS 2 when for most of the day they show the test card ?

Great youtube of Bekele...thanks for sharing that...the man with the rocketbooster finish which starts winding up a couple of ks before the finish...the eritreean in 2nd put up a great fight, though and the Kenyan in 3rd was about as far back as they usually are against Bekele, reckon Bekele had to work a bit harder for this one than in some of the others, but still totally dominant in the last 300m or so...
